Steering "X" tool; For steering box cars
Use this tool to center or "X" your steering. Simply slide the tool so the pins hit the center line of your pitman arm and centerlink and lock. Now, flip the tool to measure from your idler arm to centerlink and adjust steering until both are the same distance. Fine machined points allow the user to read center of bolt heads accurately. This tool is much faster and far more accurate than reading a tape measure on your back! This tool also works great for measuring roll center points and more. Adjusts from 16"-31". Kit includes caliper, one set of 2" long pins and one set of 4" long pins.
